    The best dodo

Posted by Catherine on 22nd May 2026

The dodo of my dreams, she is so soft. Not like fur/plush soft. Like feathers soft. They absolutely nailed the texture here. She feels like a bird. Her beak and feet are similar to the cuddle cubs fur. Her nails are suedey. The colouration on her body is astounding. There is so much variation and depth to her colours. The colour has beautiful graduations and every single hair is at least two-tone. There’s embroidery on the wings that isn’t visible from the outside but creates the effect of individual feathers. She’s got wrinkles on her legs. Every inch is excellence. I’ve counted nine different fabrics used. Looking forward to taking her to the Natural History Museum to see the real dodo as I’m pretty sure they’re about the same size and look is perfect. The attention to detail is sublime, I love this bird. I hope someday there is a cuddle cub version that will be easier to take on adventures!
